Shenandoah Police Department located a stolen Mitsubishi passenger vehicle traveling north

In the early morning hours of December 18, officers with the Shenandoah Police Department located a stolen Mitsubishi passenger vehicle traveling north, along Interstate 45. Officer’s attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver decided to try his luck and attempted to outrun law enforcement. With the assistance of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety , the pursuit came to an end in the 7700 blocks of State Highway 75 after the suspect vehicle’s front right tire was deflated by spike strip. The driver was taken into custody without incident, and ultimately charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, evading with a motor vehicle, and an active warrant through the Texas Pardon and Parole Board for Aggravated Robbery.
